Hello to all my new friends thank you all for accepting my invitation to become a friend with me
It seems to be all go since I started this journal . I have not had much sleep , infact i didnt sleep at all on Friday night but managed to get a few hours sleep on Saturday , This is a common thing for me so after years of not sleeping I am use to it
I was pleased on saturday when the post arrived with the 3 new books I ordered from amazon , I got Scottish Withcraft - by Raymond Buckland , Wicca a year and a day - by Timothy Roderick and lastly , A Witches Bible - by Janet and Stewart Farrar . So I have some heavy reading to do eventually
On Saturday night I had my mentors Group chat on Magickaschool , It was great and I am looking forward to the next one , I learn so much from these chats . I am still at the beginning of my pagan / wiccan journey and to learn from others some experianced and some just like myself a beginner is very valuable to me
anyhoo thats about it for this post see you in the next one

Merry Meet!
I've been practicing witchcraft for about 10 years, and I still remember the early days very clearly. If I could give you one piece of advice right now, it would be to be selective when you start buying books. The overwhelming majority of "Wicca 101" books spend a lot of time giving you the basics, and tend to get repetitive. So check them out carefully before spending tons of $$$ on books that contain the similar information.
Also, remember that these books reflect the practice and theories of each particular author. No one book is THE definitive handbook on pagan or magickal practice. View all books with a subjective eye. After reading a few, you'll start picking up on which information is universal, and which simply reflects the author's particular viewpoint.
Above all, enjoy the experience. Way too many people take the path much too seriously. It's magick, not rocket science, and it should be enjoyable! Best of luck on your journey!
